Did you know, severe joint pains plague an increasing number of Americans every year? CDC reports that nearly one in four adults with complaints regarding arthritis experience severe joint pain. This makes up about 15 million individuals.

So what makes the number of adults in the US experiencing joint pains so high?

Well, Joints help the human body to move as they are attachment sites for bones in the musculoskeletal system of the body. Tissues called tendons and ligaments help to connect the bones to the joints. In addition to the tendons and ligaments there are smooth protective cartilages and soft tissues around joints.

These provide cushioning to the adjacent bones as well as help produce liquids that lubricate them, keeping the bones from rubbing against each other. Due to factors like age, unhealthy lifestyle, and nutrient deficiencies, this cartilage becomes brittle and starts to wither away. This causes severe pain and may even lead to serious medical conditions.

Severe joint problems can make it very hard for a person to take care of themselves and to get through their daily routine. Ordinary tasks like going to the bathroom become a mission, especially for older people if experiencing such pains.

Allograft tissue is used to cover wounds in conditions where the tissue is damaged, or there is inflammation. The allograft tissue speeds up the healing process while replacing the previously damaged tissue.

These injections are injected right into the target area so that the effect is immediate and faster healing can occur. This is a quick procedure which allows the patient to walk out of the clinic on that same day.

Since allograft tissues are taken from cell banks instead of patient's bone marrow, it prevents complications such as the pain that comes with the extraction and the infections that follow. 

There's no doubt that joint pains are very troublesome and uncomfortable for some people. Up until recently, there haven't been any long term or permanent solutions to this problem. People tend to give up and get surgery to extinguish the pain and be able to return to their daily lives but there are mostly problems associated with that too.
