Abudo has supplements with great formulas. The keto bundle was great for me, it didn't let me go through brain fog and helped me through my keto journey.

Abudo's courses helped empower me when I was suffering from breast cancer. They helped me understand what was happening to my body and how I could overcome my emotions. I recommend this course to everyone who has breast cancer or knows someone suffering from it.

Worried About Pregnancy and Work Life? Here’s What You Can Do

Dealing with your pregnancy and work life is quite a challenge. I have seen many friends looking for reasons to stop working during pregnancy. I keep saying to them that they shouldn’t stop! I mean why should they? If you take my opinion working during pregnancy is a just a teaser to a bigger act that you will be performing when you become a working mom.

Pregnancy is indeed the most beautiful venture in a woman’s life. However, the side effects of pregnancy, like morning sickness, disturbance in sleep pattern, fatigue, and nausea can have a great impact on your lifestyle, especially on your job.

Balancing pregnancy and work life even becomes harder for women with children. If you want to put an equilibrium between your pregnancy and work life, these tips will you make the process easier:

Breaking The News To Your Boss

If you are pregnant and are working full-time, informing your boss about your pregnancy will reduce half of your worries. The recommended time of pregnancy announcement is after your first trimester. When you disclose your pregnancy to your employer you can ask for reasonable accommodations and discuss your maternity leave options as well. Some of the reasonable accommodations at job include flexible working hours, frequent breaks, work from home, and paid maternity leaves.

Letting Your Co-Workers Know

It really helps! When you are juggling with pregnancy and working full-time informing for co-workers will further reduce your worries. You know how it works? On days when you’re not feeling well and you can’t fulfil your job duties properly your coworkers will cover up for you.

Being Honest About What You Feel

There are certain days when you can’t work properly due to pregnancy-related issues. When you think that you are not completing a 30 minutes task in 2 hours accept it that you are not well. Right after that inform your colleagues and employers so that you all can come up with a solution. You can even return the favour later by working extra hard on the days when you feel better. Try to complete your projects before the deadlines and be as proactive as possible.

Dealing With Pregnancy Related Issues At Work

Don’t leave everything on your employer and colleagues. Try to fix things on your own as well!

For example, many women experience morning sickness during their first trimester. Whether you have informed your employer or not learn about ways on how to deal with morning sickness. In order to deal with morning sickness at work keep a barf bag, washcloth, and snacks that ward off nausea like fresh fruit popsicles, granola bars, saltine crackers, and ginger ale with you.

Pregnant women also suffer from fatigue during their second and third trimester. To deal with it, sit on a comfortable chair, avoid being on your feet for too long, and avoid strenuous activity.

Please keep it in mind that the only person who can take our you is yourself! Therefore, know your limits and don’t over-exert yourself to keep yourself and your child healthy.

Safety And Work

Every pregnant woman needs to stay safe at her job. No matter how passionate you are about your job, your safety comes first when you are carrying a life inside you. If your job requires you to work outside in extreme weather or in an unsafe environment, you can always ask for a position that provides a safer environment to your and your little one.

Lastly, Enjoy Your Pregnancy

It’s really important to enjoy your pregnancy when you are handling pregnancy and work at the same time. Take some time out of your work life and go shopping for your newborn, start decorating the nursery, and plan your baby shower.

Pregnancy should be the most memorable journey of your life. Nothing should stop you from enjoying your pregnancy and working full time. All you need is some guidance from your gynecologist and support of your coworkers, and you will be able to handle your pregnancy like a pro!
